Don't think it has been mentioned already in this topic, Dimps is making Sonic 4 apparently.

I doubt it'll live up to the classics as a game, but it'll be much better for time attack competition unless Dimps really screw up somewhere.

Not just Dimps.

finnaly, good damn news. I love S3&K so much, and if the level design is similar, I can't wait.
I really hope SEGA don't screw it this time, I really do. If it does, I think it will be the end for sonic.

S2 level design > S3&K level design amirite

That said, S3&K has great cohesion and this is indeed good news.

Maybe we could teach DsS to dance, bleach his skin, screw up his nose and not say the last thing on this list for decency reasons, then he can write the soundtrack.

I greatly disliked Sonic 3's level design so... wait, my anticipation for this game is already in the red numbers. Can it drop below below zero?

While I was looking at Fuzzerd's Aquatic Ruin 2 Score video on youtube, I noticed this in the suggestions. More footage of S4E1:

I like that they brought back the Green Hill boss from Sonic 1, but with a twist this time :)

I can't wait for Sonic 4. I always wanted a new old school Sonic game.  I really love the looks of the looks of this game. I like how Sonic Team put the homing attack in Sonic 4. It looks like Sonic learns the homing attack before Sonic Adventure.
I love to play Mario and Sonic games with a mix of Donkey Kong and Kirby games. Yes I'm a Nintendo nerd.

I have been in many fights on youtube about Sonic's look in Sonic 4. I really don't see how people are bitching to much. I don't see any one at Sonic Team worry so much on how people feel about having the newer looking Sonic in Sonic 4. Look it it, This game is before Sonic Adventure or maybe not. If Sonic team makes Sonic 4, they really need to make it feel like a genesis game. I hope Sonic team does this. I really want the older Sonic fans to be happy with this game. I saw a video on youtube showing Super Sonic being playable in Sonic 4.

We've had those for years. There's this one, and this one, and ... hold on. It's at this point in my search for more vids that I see your YouTube profile hosting music from Sonic 2 Advanced Edit, so it's not like you haven't seen this stuff before. So why are you asking for a retro-themed game when you know of a bunch already?
<RPGnutter> Well I think your reasoning was dumb, so you get sassed
<RPGnutter> Thats how it works
